RETIRED & PAST DOGS

Moo (WF On The Move)

Syd x Pearl

Moo was been an absolute joy to own and train. He is the only BC male that we know of which could actually help the dispositions, personalities, and biddability of our DOG4EWE females.

Moo was a sensitive, honest, talented worker who always gave his all. That is what easily made him an AKC Herding Champion and took him to 8th place in the 2003 USBCHA cattle finals. He had a nice way of settling his stock, and would hold his ground until time to take a bossy cow by the nose!

Moo has sired 2 pups which have qualified for the USBCHA open/nursery finals and 8 AKC Herding Champions! His herding instincts were awesome, his biddability and personality are what kept him in demand as a sire.

Holman's Mick

Moo x Maid

Mick is owned and loved by Karen Battrell of Bellevue, NE. Mick is almost 13 now, and is enjoying the life of a house dog!  He is a lover like his dad was, and is extremely biddable.

In 2005 he had a perfect score in the 2nd round of the USBCHA Nursery finals, a win at the Iowa State Fair, and tied his father Moo as Nebraska Hi Point Dog of the Year! He won the prelims of the 2006 National Western in Denver and had wins at the 2005 and 2006 Great Western Bank Sheep Dog Trial in Iowa. In 2010 Mick was the National Western Cattle Dog Champion!

Mick worked both sheep and cattle, and his daughters Hope and Molly will carry on his legacy as the next generation of DOG4EWE dogs.
